Wait, Wait, Don't put that in there!

Almost every time we have folks over we find ourselves saying "wait, wait, don't put that in there!" as they are about to put trash in our recycling bin.  It's not their fault, our recycling bin is indeed a trashcan.  For a long time I had been putting off using my handy dandy Silhouette to put a recycling logo on it.  Week 6's Organized Home Challenge finally got me motivated.

Another little project I worked on last month with my Silhoutte (i LOVE that thing!). Teacher thank you cards to give them a little somthing for the Holidays.

A little new year's love

I found some cute Cars and Disney Princess calendars for cheap at one of the craft stores a few weeks back and thought they'd make a cute gift for Graham's school friends. I was too lazy to wrap them all so I just made a little gift tag with my Silhouette . I forgot to take a picture of the finished product, but all I did punch a hole in the end and tie a ribbon through then tape it onto the calendars. The tag is supposed to be a bookmark, but not too many 2 year olds read chapter books :-)

Who says organizing can't be fun!

My house is generally a wreck, but I'm working on it. To make things fun, as I was putting up the Halloween/Fall decorations and busting out the Christmas decorations I decided to spruce up my storage bins using my Silhouette.  Here is what I came up with!

I'm actually looking forward to putting away the Christmas decorations (not that it'll get done before Valentine's day, but the bins will look cute!)
